PriceTrail is a browser extension that shows the price history of Amazon.in products and alerts you when a price drops.
When you open an Amazon.in product page, the extension sends the product ID (ASIN) and the price shown on the page to our server. These reports build a shared price history. No name, email, account, cookie, browsing history or other personal data is sent. Our server sees your IP address only to limit abuse (rate limiting); it is not stored with price data.
Your price alerts (product, target price) are stored only in your browser (chrome.storage.local).
To check alerts, the extension fetches the product page from your own browser in the background.
We do not sell or share data, show ads, track you across sites, or use data for credit or lending decisions. The extension does not change links or add affiliate tags.
Uninstalling the extension deletes your alerts. Price history contains no personal data.
